Lofting(2)

It was great opportunity to lean practical terms of boat building. Although nowadays people use computers for saving time and being accurate, to draw lofting by hand helps me to understand exact process and I was able to check myself at the end.

I discovered accuracy is very important  in lofting because, if not, we cannot make fair boat from that lofting and we might spent more time and material to fix it. The reason why I had to double check was to make my lines were right. I cared the thickness of pencil and even the angel when I grip the pencil. Moreover, once we make mistake, it was pretty complicated to delete and redraw so I consumed much time.

While I was doing lofting, I found somethings was wrong. I compared my lofting and the real plan which my tutor gave and figured out that our table offsets was wrong.

I realized that if one point had been changed the others might be changed too. To check these, I use the intersection points both profile and half breath.  Here is the half breath offsets that I changed.
